Amelioration
In this series of photographs and writings, I share ideas of reflection, identity, and the examination of the self. I create a conversation centered on the idea of recovery and what recovery can look like. This body of work is about lived experience, it is about ending stigmas and ending the idea of perfection. I believe we should embrace the characteristics that make us human. Through this examination of myself and my ego, I aim to engage with a wider audience and further create dialog on the idea of sobriety and empathy. Patience and support are key as I continue in this phase of life while I seek to make peace with myself and aim to better understand who I am. In these images, I share my intention to reflect on my mistakes and adapt to a new life with new ambitions.
